The University of KwaZulu-Natal is a public research university with five campuses in the province of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa. It was formed on 1 January 2004 after the merger between the University of Natal and the University of Durban-Westville.

There was another test of elephant smell by the University of KwaZulu Natal, and they did something really cool. They built an elephant-sized lab mouse maze. You know the stereotype of scientists putting mice in a maze? It's almost always just a Y-shaped maze.
